Abu Dhabi, UAE, 02 June 2019: Celebrating the spirit of Giving, Agthia Group management and employees recently took part in a series of CSR initiatives to mark the Holy month of Ramadan.
Agthia volunteers gathered in Agthia’s plant in Al Wathba to pack and distribute 500 Ramadan food hampers to families in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in partnership with the UAE Red Crescent Authority, Zayed Higher Organization and Dubai Police. Agthia employees also gave their time to elderly residents of the Old People’s Home in Sharjah as part of the team’s commitment to the community.
Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, Agthia Group CEO, said, “The Holy Month reminds us that every act of kindness, whether big or small, can have a significant positive impact on society. We take our responsibility towards the communities we serve very seriously, and our volunteers demonstrated their commitment to making a difference and drawing a smile on hundreds of people’s faces.”
Agthia also made a cash contribution to support Rashid Center initiatives, and the Group provided various food and beverages products to support UAERC Ramadan tents.
